The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

The rising star maintains substantial online audience

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically told me to go out there and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better person. He advised me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge several top competitors in the sport at this tournament, such as world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials stated that her participation exposes golf to new audiences, especially with younger fans.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced her own fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
